To fulfill the housing aspect of its mission, Veterans for LIFE Foundation has partnered with the National Community Stabilization Trust (NCST), Federal National Mortgage Association (FNMA/Fannie Mae), Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (FHLMC/Freddie Mac), J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.(Chase) and Citivest Inc., a California corporation (“Citivest”), to provide a path to affordable homeownership and rental housing, all of which is prioritized for veterans and their families.

  • Offices throughout the United States


Direct Purchase Options

  • Low to Moderate-income and affordable housing available


Rental Housing Options

  • Affordable housing for Rental Applicants if credit does not qualify to purchase
  • Leasing properties at rents affordable to households earning less than or equal to 80 percent of the area median family income


Direct Lease to Own Options

  • Affordable housing for Lease to Own and must complete housing, credit, and financial counseling


Gift Homes

  • Limited to Veterans who demonstrate a severe financial need and a strong desire to be a homeowner

qualifications for participants

The affordable housing program Qualifications will be:


  • Prioritized to veterans and their families, who must show documentation that demonstrates their veteran status in order to be selected.


  • Homebuyers must have incomes within 120% of the local area median income.


  • Must attend either a webinar or face-to-face homeownership counseling with an approved counseling organization.


  • Must be a primary residence in efforts to stabilize and revitalize communities.


  • Gifting and retrofitting programs will be prioritized to those disabled veterans whose mobility is hampered due to their injuries.

With the help of HUD Approved Home Counseling: Homestrong USA, VFLF will be able to provide homeowners and potential homeowners with various counseling programs. these programs consist of, but are not limited to, purchase homebuyer education workshops, pre-purchase counseling, mortgage delinquency and default resolution counseling, and resolving/preventing mortgage delinquency workshops.



The Department of Veterans Affairs supportive services for veteran families also provides housing counseling services, personal financial planning services and many more programs which VFLF will utilize on behalf of its clients who are veterans as part of its efforts to support, foster home ownership, stabilize neighborhoods and revitalize communities.




Mr. Wyman, Founder and Executive Director, as a veteran himself, is in a position to understand the difficulties inherent in the transition from military to civilian life. His unique perspective as a fellow veteran combined with his years of experience in the real estate industry will ensure that VFLF meets the needs of its clients in a way that too few organizations can.
